My name is Quinnie, a Vietnamese author. And I believe everyone should author their life, not following by others’ scripts.
For years, I lived by the scripts of society, my parents, and the people I admired. Everything changed when I gave birth to my first child. I felt an undeniable itch to break free. Because the question was no longer just “Is that the life I want to live?”, but also “Is that the life I want my daughter to live?” So I quit my jobs.
I started writing online while spending my days taking care of my two daughters. One is under 4 and one is under 2. I challenged myself to learn everything I need to build my life entirely on my own term. In the fourth year of writing, a publisher suddenly knock on my door and said: “Do you want a book deal?” I said “Yes!” Now, the real journey begins.
